BURGLARY INSURANCE CLAIMS

Sorry this is a glum subject, but our property which we have nearly finished and ready to start letting for next year has just been cleaned out. Even down to the odd tin of food that we had left in the kitchen cupboard! We are about to start the claim process and I was wondering if anyone who has had the misfortune to have had the same happen would comment on how they got on with their french insurers. Our insurance is with GPA. My other half is being an absolute profit of doom about them paying out!

Can't give you any practical advice but just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of this terrible crime. I hope it never happens to us. Best of luck with your claim, I trust it will go more smoothly than one I'm going through at the moment for my kitchen in the UK!
