Grantham

Post by Bellywobble »

Bit of a long shot, but I'm looking for a home exchange to the Grantham area in March, 15th -25th.

The exchange is for the house which is nicer than the apartment.

If anyone has family or friends in the area who could rescue me from having to stay with MIL, I would love them for ever!

Grantham, Voted most boring town in England, birthplace of Margaret Thatcher, plus I spent a week in Grantham Hospital after a car crash on the way back form Nottingham after a Jesus And Mary Chain Gig ( double whammy  ) Please people find Bellywobble a nice place to stay, if not she may not come back the same!
Cheers

Its my husbands home town and where we brought our kids up, so I'll always have a soft spot for it, but I do know what you mean!

Maggie Thatcher's house in now a rather nice beauty salon so some things have improved!

My husband is also from Grantham and in its defense it is much improved now, especially the shopping & leisure side of things.

We lived there for 10 happy years until last year.
