I'd like to put the following entry into my online guestbook but can't decipher the handwriting on the words in quotes. Would one of you Italian speakers be willing to help?
Cara Deb, ti "ringro-ziamo" per la piacevole "accoglinza" nella tua deliziosa casa. Lisbona é bellissima. Grazie ancora di tutto!!!
Grazie!

My Italian is diabolical but I think they were saying
“Beloved Deb, we had a pleasant stay in your delicious house.

Yes, Alan. But I'm hoping to put the Italian online without botching it too badly.

Sorry Debs! I can’t help with cross-language terminological exactitudes but I can spot a satisfied client, a mile off.

Deb,
Did a quick check on google. As far as I can see it is:
ti ringraziamo (thank you)
and accoglinza (welcome) is correct.

Hi debk
It says
"Dear Deb, thank you for the lovely stay in your wonderful home. Lisbon is beautiful. Thank you again for everything".
The correct Italian is:
Cara Deb, ti ringraziamo per la piacevole accoglienza nella tua deliziosa casa...etc"

Don't worry, Jenny, it's not just google. Many of the online translators have trouble, too. (I tried a few before posting here... just prefer to have a human on the other side, at least for translations.)

Very wise, Deb. Wish all my clients were as 'insightful' (oo, err, 'orrible word...). From time to time I get asked to check a machine translation - honestly, you might just as well do it from scratch..

Sorry I haven't been online for a couple of days and have only just seen this. I'm glad Lake Garda was able to help.
