I've been a bit of a Rip Van Winkle. Woke up this morning and thought any owner of a property in Costa Brava, Costa Daurada, Barcelona etc. will want to know about the new law that substantially restricts the number of holiday lets in each municipality. maximum of 10 rentals per 100 population. Some towns are well over that so some licences will be revoked. I think there's a five-year window but I know some towns want to enact it now and are keen on the legal backing. There will also be a need to renew licence every 5 years.
