Can somone please tell me what I am currently paying 52 euros a month to the French Tax Office for, called 'PRÉLÈVEMENT À LA SOURCE : VOS ACOMPTES MENSUELS' ? Being a UK resident, should I be paying this monthly amount??
(I pay my tax on my studio apartment profit by 4 equal instalments and I pay the Taxes Fonciere and D'Habitation in one lump sum when due).

This will be the social charges on the income you declare which is separate from tax on the revenue. We get this deducted on the 15th of each month except when the 15th is at the weekend when the deduction is a day or two later.
