Enquiries for France
I will be interested to know how French property owners are doing this year for enquiries. I think this year we have had the lowest number of enquiries for the last 10 years. Any theories as to why this should be?

Re: Enquiries for France
I can't speak for France, albeit we spend a couple of months there each year, but our experience here in the Pays de Galles mirrors yours. We are getting plenty of views, but very few enquiries. I guess it doesn't help that the lead story in the media is the impending cost of living crisis, interspersed with the latest news from Ukraine.

Re: Enquiries for France
Our gite is in Brittany. The last couple of Covid years have been dreadful, but bookings are now picking up and our revenue and bookings this year will be the best since 2019. The latest news regarding Frech strikes/blockades are not good and may put off more potential bookers. Our own ferry to France in April was cancelled and when we re-routed to Cherbourg the roads were blockaded... "Welcome to France"!
