Robust wooden bedsteads?

Robust wooden bedsteads?

Post by Ludwig »

A bed I bought three years ago has just collapsed. A reasonably well-known supplier but no refund offered, merely a paltry 15% discount on the next one! I assume that any reputable supplier would immediately replace in these circumstances but perhaps I should have been warned by the pretty minimal 1 yr guarantee.
Can anyone recommend companies with more reliable products/longer guarantee periods for around the £500 mark for King Size?

When you say it's collapsed, what do you mean? Can't you just replace/repair broken slats etc if it's made from wood?
