Spain-Holiday Alternatives

Hi all - I've see a few threads where Spain-Holiday, and the dreaded take-over by Bookiply, is mentioned.
I will not be transferring my listing over but am in search of alternatives where I am still in control and not at the mercy of the likes of AirBnb or VRBO.
Has anyone got any recommendations that aren't going to cost me a fortune?
