Post Covid Booking Enquiry

Post by Sam V »

Anyone getting enquires for later this year yet?

Ive just received this enquiry from one of my cancelled guests today-

‘We are rebooking our trip to Portugal for October. Any chance you could give us a deal on your house then?’

What are your thoughts on

A) discounts for guests re-booking later this year?

B) Taking bookings at all, as we’ve no idea yet, when travel will be allowed or what/when flights will be available.

I have taken a booking for January to March 2021.

Any guest who wants to rebook later this year, or next, can do so but not with a discount. If they cancel and then subsquently re-book I might chip a couple of Euros off if they ask nicely. I'm making chuff all this year so every Euro counts.
Some guests just need a sympathetic pat. On the head. With a hammer.

Marks is there any help from the government for you ?
It is better to remain quiet and have one think you are stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt....

The biggest mistake we make in life is thinking we have time.
