Are guests becoming more brazen?

From the moment they step through the door your bookings become guests, and their experiences determine whether they ever come back.

Are guests becoming more brazen?

Post by apexblue »

Fed up of being asked for early arrival. Offered 1pm and guest asked for earlier.

Also left damning review when they cancelled the day before. ABB refuse to take review down even though terms clearly state no refund.
It is better to remain quiet and have one think you are stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt....

The biggest mistake we make in life is thinking we have time.

Guests trying it on

Yes, I'm finding that customers are increasingly asking for early arrivals and late deps. I'll do it if I can but no more than a couple of hours or so each way. I recently had a day added to a booking when the two hours wasn't enough. That indicates to me that punters are looking for ways to extract more for the same or less. ABB and other OTA's will not be on the host's side on this.
