Hi,

I have Stripe integrated into my booking system, which is Holiday Live Booking. I've only just launched my site, so I can't comment on its behavior yet! But, it was simple to set up, and integrate with my booking system. A booking system which I think is FAB!

Good luck.

Katie

We use Stripe on our website and it takes either payment in full or a predefined deposit we set at £150. The balance which is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival can be paid by the guest on our website by logging into a personal dashboard where they can review all their bookings (past, and future)

All payment pages are secure while the rest of the site is hosted via http

Hi JWK,

THANK YOU - that means an awful lot, I've just started out and set it up myself, it has taken a very long time, so that's really kind of you to say! Now I need some bookings!!!!!!

Yours is amazing too. Your cottage looks so lovely.

@Kgreen - well you did a fantastic job and I might have to steel some ideas :)

On a side note, I'm busy building https://peakdistrict.holiday which will act as a large directory site where a lot of money will be spent on advertising and SEO to help small cottage owners take control of their income and not having to rely on agencies who take large commissions. It is obviously focussed at the Peak District but will build more for other areas if this takes off. It has been a true labour of love and has cost me nearly a £1000 so far :)

The bookings plugin were using on http://cavedale.co.uk has been super over the last 3.5 years. It's not the prettiest in the back end but doesn't the price filtering and taking payments perfectly.

YES JWK. This is what is needed, quality SEO driven referral sites. I'm on a few referral sites and some of them generate no traffic for me at all. I guess it's down to trial and error and different cottages are suited to different listing sites.

Your booking system is great, love the idea that guests can log in to view their booking details and complete payment.

Good luck with the new website, let me know when you've expanded to include East Anglia!
