Just had to update you with this amazing cake that Mum made for me following the pool catastrophe!! I had to don a wetsuit and get into the 8º water to find the leak.
Very happy to report that the pool is staying full and is now at 27º. Hallelujah!! :D

Update:

Email from Certikin to my supplier: "......As there is no time to repair and this has been patched up, as a gesture of goodwill I will agree to issue you a credit of 10% of the nett price for the Liner.
A credit of £75.05 Nett will be raised today for you."

We paid £1500 for it - not that that's really relevant. But I think £75 is a paltry sum. I've told the supplier that I don't have any confidence now in the life of the liner (that seam in particular) and have asked that they pay for it to be professionally repaired, if such a thing exists. Plus also compensation for the lost water, stress and time.

Any thoughts anyone?

Um shouldn't 10% of 1500 be 150?

That'll be 10% of what my supplier paid, not a bad little profit eh?

He's speaking to Certikin this morning so we'll see what they've got to say, I've rejected the £75!

On the face of it your supplier could buy you another brand new liner and, having given it to you, would still have a (small) profit of £75.
