Guest Passed Away

Post by apexblue »

Always thought this would happen at some point. Guest passed away last night in one cottage we are booking agents for. Owner says a lot of damage. Bed broken, hole in wall and radiator gushing water. Don't know what happened but there were 2 ambulances and 2 police cars attending. Have left message and sending flowers.

Oh my! What a situation for you to deal with. Poor owners too - hopefully they can claim on insurance, unless a crime was commited.

Awful, apexblue . The kind of situation we all dread, I'm sure. The damage implies - well, I don't know quite what - not a peaceful passing away in sleep, for sure. Nightmare for the owners too - presumably close by?

Oh no, I'm so sorry. It doesn't sound like a death from normal causes either judging by the damage. I hope the insurance covers everything but it is an awful thing to happen in somebody else's home.

How awful for everyone, Apexblue. Sounds pretty violent...

Thank you all. Heart attack took 9 men to get him downstairs. 25 stone and so disabled he couldn't leave the house.

Crumbs, am surprised he managed to make upstairs. Not surprised the bed collapsed. Hope the owner is able to make a claim somewhere for the damage sustained......
