what a disappointment... but the other kids must have had a ball!
this reminds me of a very early easter, at the age of 7, when i was staying in a hospice for children with 'eating problems' (as in: mum's idea to let others force me to eat too much, i didn't and couldn't eat her enormous portions)
the nurses had hidden the easter eggs in the garden, the night before... it was cold that easter. waking up: it had snowed!!! eggs hard to trace, then... but at least, they kept fresh!
