V suspicious about this. Is it some kind of scam? If so how?

Also why not say how much he'll pay and show what his ad looks like?

Hi Nikki,

I am a Web Analytics Specialist for Digitally Distinctive, a company who works with a number of reputable UK clients to generate relevant and engaging online advertising on websites similar to your own. We feel that a partnership between us would be mutually beneficial.

We are in search of websites that would match our client niche. These are websites about Cyprus, Spain, Egypt, Canada, Greece, Florida,Turkey, Italy, New York, Canada, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria, UK, NewZealand, Asian Regions. We also have a clients who sells various products (Home Cleaning Equipment, Furniture, Gardening Tools, Home Appliances, Mobile
phones)

After a quick assessment of your site pissouribay.com, we find that it is topically relevant to our clients and their users.

As such I was wondering if you would be interested in placing a text-based advertisement on one of the pages of your site. We would pay you as soon as the advert is live via Paypal, and look to renew it yearly.

Please do let me know if this interests you, and thank you for your time.

Warmest Regards,
Jobert Bonganseso

We received a similar email. After searching found out that they are a scam and never payout.
Got another one yesterday...into the bin it went.

Thanks for confirmation. That's what we thought.

Still curious to know how the scam works though.

I suppose that they get paid for placing adverts and promise you that you will get paid..If you never get paid then they gain some money.

PS to my first posting I also do not think you have control over the contents of the adverts either.

Oooh, how glad am i that i'd stumbled on this post?
We had an identical e-mail last week from him and to be honest, we were about to take him up on his offer.

We did ask him for an amount he was prepared to pay and he suggested $60-75 per year through Paypal.
Not enough for me to go to the hassle of messing with the site just to get messed around with payment.
LMH does it again!
