Anybody list their home/holiday home on a listing site. I am interested in doing this but would like to know which one to use or indeed avoid.
Thanks

I list mine on http://www.exchangeholidayhomes.com/
They're gradually adding more and more properties and have a good booking system. I have managed to get a swap at two of my 3 properties so far.

We use www.homeexchange.com and www.homeforexchange.com. If you pm me with your email address I can send you a voucher for three months free membership for the second club. The first club is offering a free three months exchange to any member of another exchange club - not sure if you can set up your listing (using the voucher) for the second club and then use that to get free membership with the first?
We've done 10+ exchanges so happy to answer questions.

I don't know this site but if you go to it via this link LMH gets a commission if you join them: HomeForExchange.com

The gift voucher for introductory membership to www.homeforexchange.com is for 40days not three months (I think they revised their offer). However, http://www.homebase-hols.com/ are offering a similar deal to www.homeexchange.com - three months membership for £1 to anyone who is a member of another swap club.
A useful resource on homeexchange websites / clubs is www.knowyourtrade.com. This site lists all swap clubs and gives percentages of members in each country (useful if you're looking for a swap in a particular region). It also lists specialist clubs - for those who want to exchange with others of the same faith, sexual orientation, background, profession etc). It also includes independent reviews of each club.

Very impressed with www.homebase-hols.com.
Joined them about 6 weeks ago and have arranged 2 exchanges with enquiries from plenty more.
I like it because it is straightforward - a yearly fee (about £29 for 1 or £39 for 2 years) and no points or banking system.
You just contact someone direct if you fancy an exchange with them.
What I like is that a lot of the properties are 2nd homes so exchanges dont have to be simultaneous.
