Cheeky TripAdvisor

Why is Tripadvisor using the image of my accommodation to advertise other accommodations (see first image - top left)? I received this email from Tripadvisor advertising Valletta properties (none of which are the one in the picture. They must have got the picture from Flipkey which still seems to ha...

Dyson Hot Fan Heater

I have just got the Dyson Hot in one property where AC is not possible. We're talking Mediterranean island here so winter is relatively short but can still be uncomfortable, especially for people used to central heating. Can't wait for winter to try it out. Has anyone else used it for their accommod...

Have you tried contacting them? The same has happened to me with holidaybargains.tv but they never bothered replying.

I used their contact form and asked how the advert had got there in the first place and got no answer. The ad suddenly disappeared. I suspect that holidaybargains.tv placed it there in the first place because the name of the poster is a John Smith (sic) and all his other postings are still on there....

We had the masterlock for the inner door (we had intended for guests to leave the keys there and then close the main door behind them). Guests managed to insert the keys in such a way to get the lock stuck. We had to break it open.

Does anyone have any information on this website? I found my accommodation featured on the website and was a bit wary. I don't recall registering my property with the website and when I tested their contact form, I received nothing. Has anyone found themselves in the same situation?

I have now checked with my insurance and it seems that here there is no need unless you are charging specifically for the service. A private car insurance will do just as well.

Picking up guests from airport

Does anyone know whether one needs to have a special car insurance when picking guests up from the airport?

House manager job description

I wonder if anyone can help. I am currently searching for a house manager and need to write up a job description. Has anyone already gone through this experience and have an example job description they could share? If you prefer to do this privately, please pm me. Thank you.
