Thank you all for your encouragement. I do not think they were after a free stay as they wanted to leave immedietly and make other plans. The fact that when I phoned the day after, they were in their new accommodation's swimming pool made me think that the husband had made the wrong booking in the f...

I know you all get this kind of feed back too - makes it all worth the candle doesn't it? Yes it does make all the difference. I have just had the first guests who said they were disappointed and asked to get their money back as soon as they arrived. They found something to say about everything, an...

Thanks Mouse. I do not intend to take it word for word. It is sometimes difficult to find the right way of expressing things. I have found http://ezinearticles.com/?Complaint-Let ... &id=152442 on the web but would like to see more.

Answering a letter of complaint

Is there anyone that can point out a template for a letter/e-mail to answer a letter of complaint from a guest? Thank you.

it depends on your target guest

Tansy, Hello!!!?? I have been in that position, with no other choice, I have been known to glance through Hello. It is not something that I look for though. The worst is my hairdresser who offers a lovely cappuccino (classy) and spoils it with the accompanying Daily Hate (sorry, I meant Daily Mail)....

I have just had the same issue over one quality bath towel stained by hair dye. I decided I was not to charge for it from the Breakages Deposit. I did mention that there had been no charge for it. Ladies, please tell me, surely as it would have happened before at home, one would be extra careful wit...

Book Crossing

I am always trying to find new ways to advertise and I thought this would be a rather original one to do. I came across Book Crossing , a new way of recycling books that you have already read - You share them with the general public by leaving them in public spaces. Each book is registered with a un...

Sorry, my fault.

The only problem with adverting on e-bay, I suppose, is that if someone requests that week through somewhere other than e-bay, you cannot sell that week to them. You would have to direct them to e-bay.

Advertising a week's stay on e-bay

Someone suggested I advertise a week's stay on e-bay more as an attention seeking exercise than to actually sell that week. Has anyone ever considered this?

I have a feeling

I received this e-mail and was wondering whether the gut feeling I got is right. What do you think? When I looked up the address it turns out it's a book-shop. "I'm sorry for not getting back to you ontime. Actually am out of office okay Apology. Thank you for your email regard to my enquiry. C...

Truly Beautiful

It is a truly beautiful villa, has lots of attractive attributes whilst the inclusion of the Evening Standard article about Puglia is a clever addition (I thought it would mention the villa itself). The first thing that I noticed was that, because the home page content only starts below the menu on ...

Valletta G-House - final web site

About a month or so ago I had placed my website out in the cruel world and after much painful realisation, helped by all of your kind reviews, www.vallettahouse.com returns in its rebirth. Stronger, more beautiful and less self conscious it presents itself for further review  1. I have added i...

www.vallettahouse.com

Must congratulate all for the community feeling you get when entering this website. I have just ventured into the holiday rental market after a great year refurbishing a dream house (well, for me it was :D ) Would someone be kind enough to give me some hints as to what could make my website better h...
