Airbnb Account temporarily locked
Is this a phishing exercise? I took my properties off AirBnB a long time ago, not sure I even still have an account Ethan Q, 20 Sep 2017 Hi Host, Your Airbnb account has been temporarily locked. The reason for blocking access to your account is a pending verification that you haven’t completed yet. ...

I've actually been seeing guest email address on enquiries from both HA and Owners Direct for some time now ... long may it continue! Having said that virtually all the enquiries that turned into bookings paid through HA / OD even though we offered them a better price to pay direct. Seems like Guest...

I don't let HA/OD take my security deposits, instead I take them direct 1 day before arrival and refund departure day or next. Yes, I'm a control freak but my guests are happy. TripAdvisor don't let me do that but the few rentals we have had through them, guests seem happy enough with their 7 day re...

The chief of local police here (rural southern Italy) told my Italian friend who enquired for me that if we were declaring all income to Agencia dell'Entrata (tax office) we didn't need to do anything else. Not convinced ... next stop local Carabinieri ... From the info I have, declaring guests has...

I did not give up but gave them several suggestions with which they agreed to one of them. I asked them to keep my ticket open until all was resolved. I duplicated my listing, it took about 3 hours, and listed it in Euros with my Euro Account. I then hid my GBP listing so I would not get any more e...

We are in Italy and after holding our prices for 2 years, for 2017 we converted all of our listings to Euros and increased prices by 10%. We also added final clean as an extra charge and increased the damage deposit for €250 - €350. Overall for peak weeks, the price increase was 15%. We secured mor...

I really don't get this .... mamy flights arrive here around 10:30 in the morning. If we have no guests leaving that day we give guests access as soon as they arrive. If we do have guests leaving we tell the new arrivals that we will try to have everything ready by 2pm instead of the normal 4pm. We ...

Definitely dishwasher if you only have room for one. Although it is still necessary to check and rewash where necessary it usually saves time at changeovers. Washing machines, in our experience, if they are there the guests will use them. Often only putting a few bits of underwear in at a time, and ...

We provide travel cot, mattress, sheets when requested by guests. It doesn't happen often. This year we have three sets of guests in succession (first ones here now) who have specifically requested travel cot. In the past we have never had a problem. We ensure that everything is scrupulously clean b...
