Leave it on HL but take off instant bookings. I am on both sites but would never allow instant bookings. Just because of the sort of situation you had & also I want to know who is trying to book before I accept.

We take both although try not to accept bookings with them both in - excited kids chasing dogs around equals damage!

If I have a preference it's for dogs - I find dog owners far more conscientious, families are far more likely to leave in a hurry & not clean up.

Hi. Website looks lovely, am tempted to book myself! The only negative for me would be the parking. Is the on steeet parking on the same road as the house? Could you show it in some way? Men in particular can be quite fussy about where they leave their precious cars! We have the same problem with ou...

Stand firm. They know you are new to this and are taking advantage. They will soon be gone. Did you take a damages deposit? If you did, under no circumstances refund on departure. Get bank details and refund after house has been fully inspected. 99.9% of guests are lovely. You've had a baptism by fi...

I like it! obviously you know that you will have to get your own domain name eventually, but as a link it's fine. The pictures are a tiny bit dark, but I've seen much worse. Although I do think there are too many pics of the dining table! It seemds to have all the info you would need, so good luck w...

If you had a website that he could have got your no. from - ok, but how did he get your no.? There's nothing wrong with taking a direct booking, most if us prefer it as no commission, but you need a booking form to get all his details. I have one you are welcome to copy, message me your email addres...
