booking formHi.

Hi. Have sent you a copy of ours through your website - don't know how to PM & all those technical terms.

It's only a simple one but it works for us.

Hope it helps.

Yes it's a difficult one. Don't know why we feel so guilty about deducting, after all, it's what the damages deposit is for & I have taken pictures as proof.

Any other comments very welcome please!!

Would you deduct for damage or not??

Did a clean & turnaround at our house yesterday & saw stains on the 2 quilt covers in the twin bedroom. There had been 1 child staying with parents but he'd obviously used both beds, not sure of childs age but has to be under school age. Washed the quilt covers, one of them is OK but the oth...

Just an update - it has taken until yesterday to get the listing correct on TA. They had it correct about 2 weeks ago & then I updated the calendar & that threw it out again. I keep telling them that the New Forest is not in Cumbria. On this experience don't think I'll be renewing once the f...

Wow. what a lot of advice - thankyou all so much. I'll def. look into a slower broadband. Unfortunately the Mobile Dongles won't work as the mobile coverage is rubbish, hence I have to keep a landline connected for emergencies.

I will definitely look into this further now, thankyou all. :D

Monitoring bandwidth usage at your property

Hi. We are considering installing B.Band/WIFI as we have been asked & I did lose a 3 week booking last year because we didn't have it. My concern is how to monitor downloads. There are packages which have 'unlimited' downloads but there is always a clause of 'fair usage' & the threat of bein...

Flipkey/TA

The problem I've had wth them is my holiday home is listed In Ulverston instead of the New Forest, & I can't get anyone to change it. I've tried to email TA but they just bounce it back, & Flipkey say they've asked TA to change it but they haven't & they don't know why. I did it on the 6...

Re: nuisance calls because of listings

Recently put up our properties on owners direct. only had 1 query about the rental of one proeprty, however, i have gotten more calls from people from rental agents/rental sites wanting me to advertise with them. Best Overseas Websites for a UK Holiday Home?

Hi. We have a Holiday Home in New Forest area. We don't have a problem with peak seasons they are usually taken by UK guests but as we've had several guests in the quieter times over the last couple of years from Germany, Portugal,USA, Canada, France I'd be interested in advertising on European webs...
