Yes I wondered about this also, I think you could be right Essar about the HA upgrade. At the bottom of the "HA upgrade" properties it has "This homeaway network property has advertised with us since XXXX" but if it is a direct OD property it mentions when owner joined and date e...

Hi Tavi, 1.86 should be fine, ours is approx 2m width but I am not there at the moment so cant get precise measurements for opening etc. Ours has a mosaic tiled floor and entrance at opposite end to shower head. If you are ever in our area you are more than welcome to have a look, we are not back ag...

We did the same as Marks when we replaced our bath, glass blocks three quarters the width of the room & no door just walk in it is really nice and spacious.

We had the same dilemma, we had 3 baths and took one out to create a luxury walk in shower, we had comments back from regulars that while they appreciated the luxury shower they still wanted the baths to remain. I think it depends on your market ours is almost all from the UK and families of 3 gener...

Thanks I will send on my thoughts to HomeAway, it is very difficult to get new reviews when you have a lot of repeat guests, the season is short, with everyone booking 1 or 2 weeks. The pool of guests I can ask for reviews is small compared to short stay properties open all year round so it would be...

I hadn't noticed this before, but I think it looks like you need to have a number of items ticked from their luxury items category under "features & facilities" In our area villas that have a minimum of Heated pool, Jacuzzi/hot tub, internet etc seem to be included. It would be nice to...

For me commission listings do not seem to work and for many years we had good results with HL, but since going to commission we rely on OD/HA. I know guests also find it very difficult to find what they want also as there are so many websites and so many properties to go through. I wonder is there a...

That is very interesting, I have just tried it & yes you are correct. Thanks for the tip... It is very strange because sometimes the higher up you go in occupancy the more villas become available the opposite to what happens on OD & HA. Eg I looked for a villa for 10+ I got 4 available but f...
