We got a new sofa from Ikea recently, the Ektorp with washable covers. We're in situ this week ourselves and I noticed a large black stain on one of the seat cushions. Somone had obviously left the top off a pen and it soaked in. A quick hurl in the washer with that cover has thankfully removed all ...

The mosquito story reminded me of my niece. She was answering phone calls for tickets for a music festival. One woman asked "will there be mosquitos there this year", my niece replied quick as a flash: "well none of them have bought tickets yet"!

Car hire Malaga airport

For a friend

Can anyone recommend (or warn against) any car hire firms for Malaga airport?

I seem to remember a thread a while ago where someone was warning against a certain company. Thanks!

I saw and commented on your facebook page. I'm sad beyond sad for you. I can guess how you feel* after my little Hannah Cat moved on at the good old age of 21 (many years ago). I still think of her fondly and stupidly can still be moved to tears by her loss even though it has been 14 years. I've had...

Try the classic - shut everything down and start again. It should clear your printer queue and it may work. Good luck!

What happens when you try and open it? Do you use Word? If you insert as if it were a photo into a document. Or if you don't Google Documents are free and like an online MS Office. If you get really stuck you can email it to me and I'll put it into a doc, convert it to a PDF (which will be easy to p...

Thanks Kev. I'll try and remember what I was trying to join and PM.
I can't change my email on my Gumtree account as that is saying invalid but you obviously won't be able to access that without passwords etc. It is a yahoo.co.uk I've used for years and using Firefox.

I've noticed on my desktop computer that when I'm filling in forms on several different sites I get an "invalid email" error despite my email being correct. It has only been happening for the last week or so, wonder if that is a bug in W10 too?

I'm hoping that my guests don't let their mutts on my sofas, Oh they will! One cheeky woman who I made the mistake of accepting a friend request on facebook*, posted a photo saying "This is Toby on the chair, he's not allowed to do that at home lol!" I wasn't lolling very much to be hones...

It's not the money to me, it is the disrespect. I guess I have too much emotional attachment to my place. I have a cleaner now, changeover days would sometimes just see me ranting and raving for the weekend! I would reiterate firmly what your expectations of the conditon the place is left in or fran...
