I have a villa that has 3 bathrooms.
One bathroom is a shared family bathroom
The second is attached to a bedroom and has WC, shower, basin etc.
The third is attached to a bedroom and has a roll top bath, shower, twin basins but no WC. Is it an en suite?

My French is good enough to answer the questions but again my point is that many of the questions are unnecessary and banal. Many of the enquirers come through TA and HL where I have English only adverts. I do think that many call to be assured that the house actually exists. One guest last year ran...

Thanks guys I think on balance I should stick with my gut feeling and decline (despite the begging). It is simply too many people. Although all the bedrooms except one would have space for another 2 double beds - they are a really generous size. I just have visions of them putting all the children i...

Firstly I apologise to the French people I seem to have upset. Circé - yes I would have written this had the majority of questions and phone calls came from someone English (my native tongue) my point is that it is only the French that make such demands. There is nothing wrong with my website, it th...

French Questions Questions Questions
I let my apartment through a few sites and have noticed that the only people who pick up the phone and ask questions are French. If they enquire by email there are always so many questions that as a poor French speaker make me squirm and run for the dictionary. It would be good just once to have a F...

19 people in a villa for 12!
Just wondering what others would do. I have a villa 6 en suite double rooms (max 12). Enquiry received for 6 couples, 2 babies and 5 under 6 year olds! They have said that they will bring their own mattresses for the children. I have a few issues, 1. Extra utilities 2. No table big enough for all to...

Holiday Lettings - how can I contact them
Does anyone have a contact at Holiday Lettings. I used to have a telephone number and email address of a customer services rep. I have sent 3 emails to my old contact - nothing I have called them on the phone and have listened to "all our customer service reps are busy" for over 4 hours (I...

We leave whatever is in season in the garden and some freshly laid eggs. This week it was eggs, cherry tomatoes and courgettes. Last week it was eggs, green beans and cherry tomatoes When the garden produce is light we add a bottle of local wine. The store cupboard always has tea, coffee, sugar, mil...

Thanks everyone for your replies. I think the fact that they are a group of 10 means it is a significant amount of washing up. I think we would have replaced it but the repair company came straight out and took it for repair as the guests were going to arrive in 2 days we felt that was plenty of tim...

Compensation for missing Dishwasher
Our guests have not had a dishwasher for the whole week they have been in our holiday villa. (repair taken longer than expected) How much would you consider a fair amount for compensation. They paid £2200 for the week and there are 10 of them?

Thanks Anno I have had many other French visitors and they are often not happy to pay the caution before they arrive but when I explain that it is not possible to be in 20 places at once they accept it and pay in advance. We have now had several more exchanges by email and have come to an agreement,...
