Technical problems can happen to anyone. I couldn't pay a bill last week as Barclays App wasn't working. If it is just a one-off, I wouldn't worry too much. It is often my bank that hasn't updated and nothing to do with Transferwise when it doesn't show in my account.

I wouldn't worry about it, most people will have or be able to reset their log in. If they don't, they can create one.

I'm in the middle of a disagreement with Homeaway over this. They are adding on taxes far in excess of that which is due, and claiming they are amounts that the commune have told them to collect. My apartment manager has told me that other owners have been told not to allow them to collect it, but t...

We have Netflix, but only as an app on the TV, guests need to log in with their own accounts if they want to use it. And it is French Netflix.

With so many people having Smart phones, etc etc, I'd probably rather just put a Bluetooth speaker in there.

In December last year, the payment gateway for HA cahnged from Holiday Rent Payments to Homeaway Payments. Would it be anything to do with that? There's something in your account somewhere that tells you if you were migrated.

I've had one set of guests who didn't turn up, but told me in advance that one of them was ill. They'd paid in advance, and didn't ask for a refund, they didn't get one as I couldn't rebook anything at one days notice.

They did book again and didn't ask for any discounts or favours.

They only invoice for commission in the month after the booking, so there is plenty of time to sort out any problems you may have. I've found them very helpful and professional. If you sign up for them to take payment, they usually deduct the commission before they pay you though.

Just pick up the phone and ring the planning department for your area, they're usually very helpful.

I only release dates as late availability a few weeks before so don't use it for my peak weekend changeover bookings. There is an option to use a calendar which allows you to refuse arrivals and departures on particular days, so I think you can use that option to sort that out.
