Emmy there are a few Facebook pages that might be able to help.

As our place is small it is difficult to over-occupy, but the French have managed it on a couple of occasions. There are in theory beds for 5, although it is only advertised for a maximum of 4 including babies. M turned up on departure to find 4 adults 2 children and a baby. Although they insisted g...

As a general rule, BC guests are the hardest ones of all to contact, even if you do have a phone number for them. I have resorted to getting Booking.com to contact them instead on occasions. One case it was the morning of their arrival and they had not been in touch with either me or my aparment man...

I also take payment direct, but use the credit card details provided to BC to input it into my Stripe account. You can get BC to also request the 3 digit security code so you can complete the payment.

I found this in my extranet What's a virtual credit card and how does it work? Virtual credit cards (VCCs) are digital MasterCards that allow for easy and secure online payments. For every booking you receive, we’ll send a new one. Each VCC can only be used once (one card per booking). Each VCC has ...

I would think that if you were asking the professionals to provide the service on behalf of your guests, then you would be entitled to ask for something in return,as you would be advertising the service on your property website/guest book etc, but as it is a private arrangement between guest and pro...

I know I am late to the party, but many of us will have been busy with our own changeovers on Saturday lun...

Overcharging mine too. They should be paying a maximum of 2.30 per night. I've sent HA the table of charges, but they are still not charging the correct amount.

Weirdly, summer has booked if anything rather better than usual for me - normally people wait a little later for summer in the Alps but I've now got only three weeks available. I think the heatwaves of Southern Europe are starting to really make the mountains more popular for summer. This winter wa...
