Managing changeovers 2021

How is everyone managing their changeovers this year? I'm requesting a rest of 72 hours between bookings, to allow for recommended sanitation procedures, but on one property, I have been asked to do interim cleans whilst guests are still staying there, which I'm not particularly happy about. How doe...

Ironing

So I have a lot of Egyptian cotton linen to launder, and don't want to use a local laundry, but want a professional finish to my ironing. Can anyone recommend the best ironing system they've found please? Type of iron, press, or any other suggestions gratefully received. Many thanks

Yes, I know what you mean. Have any of you had experience with air b&b, or is that more for house or apartment swopping?

We are a family of 3 adults, plus one very well behaved black lab. We look after property rentals in sw France, and it is our well earned end of season break. Plea...

On beds, do you think it is a problem if all fitted bottom sheets are white, and the duvet covers, & pillow cases are ivory, or should everything always match?

Antimony is a heavy metal, but it is not lead compound. It is a metallic element, symbol Sb, atomic number 51. HelenB, I stand corrected - it is often used in production with lead, to make lead harder and machanically stronger, as for alloys and manufacturing bullets. Still a toxin though, and not ...

Mozzie - according to the Cotonea Naturalsleep site, bedding and bed products are often treated with chemicals like Antimony, or other flame retardents, plus various other chemicals, for various reasons. These can be a particular problem to those of us who suffer from allergies, respiratory and vari...

Lorca - is yours from JL too? Am amazed it can last so long and still look pristine! It is certainly worth doing your homework as to where to buy. The totally natural route sounds wonderful too - had no idea about the nasties they put in regular bedding - bit scary!! I suspect the price would be con...

Fire Extinguishers

Can you please tell me what the rules are for fire extinguishers being present in a gite, and do you require a certain number for size of the house, etc. Just want to make sure we are providing correctly.

How absolutely dreadful for you all down there in Spain. This is not something I could even imagine happening there!! Our thoughts are with you all, and of course with the families of all those poor people that have died - so very tragic.
