Electric car charge points

We are considering installing an electric charging point for our let. Is there still a grant available? Any recommendations for installers/ types? Any do's and don't's?!

We treat parasols as an annual expense, they rarely last the season intact, so we buy cheap, and always have a spare :?

I drive a Toyota Hilux for work. Initially I thought it was far too big and high.. But now I absolutely LOVE it. Wonderful clearance and it drives beautifully.

Good luck! I'm sure it'll be fine, but it does make for a nerve wracking time. Nemo is of course right, it's best to hear nothing from them.. And then you go in and read lovely things in the comments book, and it makes you smile. Let us know how it goes :-)

Accountant fees for tax return - how much?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.. I'm in the process of finding an accountant to sort out my tax return. I'm sure that next year I'll be able to sort it myself but as this is our first year I need the help! We've been quoted £300+VAT - is this about right? To quote: "This would inc...

I don't have any miracle cures; just wanted to offer sympathy. We've got laminate in the hall of our let & it's pretty scuffed too (similar age to yours I think). It sounds like the sand hasn't helped with the topcoat in your situation, so perhaps trying to encourage better wiping of paws & ...

We are just starting out, not yet open for business but I am planning to provide a proper cot rather than a travel cot. <snip> As a renter I would prefer any cot to be already put up, as other people have mentioned the cots are all different and having to figure out how to put it up after a long dr...

I've had a madly busy 2 weeks off the diet; guests for Easter week & then a very stressful time with a foster rescue dog (my dog doesn't like her at all) so I haven't done very well .. Back on it tomorrow though! I'm looking forward to it. I've noticed that I'm much more aware of what I'm eating...
