Sorry to hear of all of your hassles Kathy. We packed in renting Lily Cottage out after our new year guests. It's been wonderful on Saturday afternoons not to dread the "Hello, I'm staying in your cottage and..." calls. We're enjoying this summer ourselves then Lily will be going up for sa...

Good luck Kathy and Mouse, it's like an end of an era for some of us old "hatters". After 17 years I think we're drawing to a close too at Lily Cottage in Northumberland as the property was always intended as part of our pensions. Not quite yet though, I'm sure we'll know when the time is ...

We, (three very experienced holiday rental owners) have reached our 3,000 members in less than 3 months on our facebook group. Many longstanding hatters will know I've been a member of LMH from the start. :-) Alongside the main offers and wants group we also have an owners group which is available t...

I always weigh up the good and the bad, as mentioned sometimes the 1* can be for ridiculous things. I like to take a balance across the board but that's not that easy now.

Trip Advisor reviews for HL properties

I've recently noticed on some TA reviews that you can't see at a glance how many 5*, 4* etc as they don't have them broken down as in the photo. There have been a couple of properties I've been interested in and I'd have liked to easily see their low review scores too without wading through dozens o...

Sorry, no help from me re the commercial tea towels but when Dave's mam moved into residential care I inherited her (unused) collection of about 30 souvenir tea towels, I have tourist spots from all over the country her friends would bring her and the prize of the collection - the Charles and Diana ...

With the tip from Nemo I converted our very popular pubcat's profile to a page. It was probably a matter of time before "CraigDavid Pubcat" was figured not to be a real person by Facebook as indeed his friend "Normandog Blackwell" was, and lost everything. Friends who use nicknam...

Went with them on LMH recommendations and pleased with them. Someone had a leaky pen which left a large round black stain but the cushion came up as good as new after a hurl around in the washer.

Good to know there are other options for patterns as well as Ikea's - thanks folks!

I hadn't clicked the "further details" button FC. Agreed, it gets too complex from there on. You need to easily see the price and availability. Why not take a look at other PMP sites for the tabs/structure? Mine is by no means perfect (please no comments :-)) but it does the job. www.lilyc...

Am I missing the availibility calendar/s? I use PMP and one of my tabs is "Rates and Availability" http://www.lilycottagebelford.co.uk/rates. If you are using PIMS you can link and it automatically updates your website. I'm not sure how multi properties work with this but I'm sure others w...
