Topic: Classification 'meuble' for British resident taxpayer?

You should be first and foremost declaring the income on your property to the French tax authorities. As a non-French resident, any income you earn outside of France is not their concern. Should you be then liable for French tax, you declare this on your Uk tax form. Any difference is then either ch...

I used Etoiles de France for mine last year. They took a while to do the inspection as it was lockdown but were very professional. My apartment manager went to the visit as we were unable to travel from the UK. He made a couple of suggestions, asked me to put a notice on our website that we weren't ...

I think it would depend on the numbers at the other cottage, and how close the tub is to yours. If it is a small cottage for 2 people I wouldn't expect a huge amount of noise, but if it is for a large group, then it might be. It wouldn't be the deciding factor in whether I completed a purchase or no...

Have they perhaps been washed and put back on before properly dry?
I would think though that the marks will come out with washing if they are machine washable. Is the furniture cold and damp underneath the covers? Maybe put in a dehumidifier. It has been very wet this winter.

I know one person who simply alters the times of arrival and departure on BC as opposed to their website. As long as it is not an identical product the price difference is acceptable. Direct includes cleaning for example, BC booking doesn't. I've noticed with hotel bookings that sometimes the room s...

Could it be that the initial payments were taken by Yapstone which is why they are paying it out to you on this occasion?

I had a HA booking stayed in August, i received the full amount in one payment, guests paid deposit and balance. I guess one way to avoid two payments though, might be to take 100% upfront.
