Tips for selling apartment in northern Spain

Hi folks, we're moving to Holland next year and will be selling our 4-bed and 2-bed apartments here in Cantabria. Does anyone have any tips for paid or free advertising sites for selling properties in this part of the world, specifically aimed at the UK second home or emigration market? thanks, rega...

Small update: Turned out the burning problem was due to using Princo blanks, which I have discovered are useless. Have replaced them with Verbatim and have hardly had a problem since. I've stocked the flat with a combination of bought DVDs which I'm not bothered about and some burned VCDs and DVDs. ...

Hi Marcus,

I've thought about Brittany Ferries, but they sail on odd days here, so you're basically tied to them unless you can find other people to rent Monday to Monday, Thursday to Thursday etc. - not easy to sell to other markets.

Re: the bank emails, I agree with Alan - be very cautious about these! I get emails purportedly from PayPal, which I use a lot, and from my own bank, warning me that my account will be suspended due to compromised security, and that I have to click on a link to re-enter my details. These can look to...

This wasn't meant as a negative comment, simply based on what I'm hearing from other owners. The main booking season for the summer is January - March, thoughout the European travel sector. May will therefore by definition be quieter.

cheers, Jim

People are still booking for the summer, but I imagine most of us are fully booked up to September already - which would explain why Susan has got a spate of bookings. I just got a booking in for 4 - 16 Sept and one a couple of weeks ago for a week in October (half term?). I don't expect to get a wh...

Gullivers

I put a link to Gullivers on the free ad site, but now when I click on the link I can't find any reference to a rental listings section, let alone a free (trial) one. I suspect I typed the URL incorrectly when putting it on the list, and I'm now linking to the wrong Gullivers. Can anyone help me wit...
