I manage a number of properties and at the beginning of the year I had 30% less bookings but that has steadily improved and as of today I am 10% down on 2016. I think some of it is to do with the poor exchange rate but when this happened a few years ago bookings were received later with people waiti...

Feather bedding and cushions
We have invested in top quality feather duvets, pillows and cushions throughout and we love them. However, current guests have complained that some of the group have allergies and are reacting to the bedding. Is the onus on me to mention the feather bedding on all my ads or is the onus on the guests...

I had an enquiry this morning for 10 adults, 6 children and 3 infants. The house is for 10 plus a baby!!! They said they would bring travel cots, airbeds and some of the children would sleep with their parents. We have plenty of crockery and cutlery etc for 19 but the table would be a squeeze. With ...

My problem is the house is not mine, I just manage it and I knew it had 4 toilets and made the assumption that each en suite had a toilet, a toilet in the family bathroom and a separate WC on the first floor. Voila 4 toilets. But the 4th toilet is on the second floor So I advertised it as 2 en suite...
