Hi everyone. I'm currently looking at adding freetobook booking system to one of my properties' website. To anyone already using the service I have the following questions: 1. Is there an option to have a returnable breakages deposit? How do you do yours? 2. Is there an option to have prospective gu...

They did get me bookings last year but it seems they're now monetising everything and my bookings have completely dried up. Is this what happens with each listings agency once they start growing? If my bookings don't pick up, I think I will not renew.

Is anyone familiar with this listing site whose property is not in France? Have you got any bookings from French guests through it? Many thanks.

Asking guests for ID documents

I have just caught on to the fact that the Tourism Board Authority of the country my rental is located requires for the owner to check guests' details against their ID/passport. I would need to ask for a scan of sorts since I am not on site. 1. Does anyone ask for documents? How do you go about it? ...

Google-Hotel-Ads

It's so frustrating. For some time I managed to get found on Google through making my website better. Now that Google has realised it can make money from this, it has introduced Google Hotel Ads. The funny thing is that my property is featured when, say, you look up "boutique holiday accommodat...

Hi Seaturtle, I imagine you’ve found someone to film your place in Sicily by now. If you haven’t, I’m hoping to start a new service for holiday rentals. Do have a look at a previous project I’ve worked on - https://vimeo.com/99639023 - if you do like it, please get in touch and we can discuss possib...

I have been listed for free with this listing site for some years. I haven't had an enquiry since 2016. They have now been bought and are looking to start charging for their service. Is anyone else listed with them? What has your experience been and do you think it will be worth the fee (£59)? Many ...

Thank you Martha.

I guess you mean the linked places of interest cards. They do work. The only disadvantage is that the words in the image don't come up in google searches this way. I'm sure there's a way of doing that too but I still need to find it.

Hi Russellt,

I've managed to style the links. Thank you.

I shall hopefully upload the info on HVD later in the week. Cheers.

Hi Russellt, Thank you for taking the time to look at my efforts. Really appreciate it. I've looked at making the large picture in the homepage less heavy. Hopefully it uploads quicker now. Not sure what you mean regarding the Helpful Links section as this web builder is meant to do the back end for...

Improved website?

I've just been trying to make our website more easily readable on mobiles while also placing larger images on each platform. If you'd be so kind as to share your opinions on it before I take it online, that would be fantastic. You can have a look here - http://id2017.webflow.io You can compare to th...

I've found our accommodation listed on this website carrying a generic photo of a bed and the incorrect address. It carries our website address as contact so I'm not sure what sort of website it is. I have emailed them and am awaiting their answer. Is anyone familiar with the website?

I get some woven labels from jjcash.co.uk for that purpose. I tag pretty much everything with them and it makes it look rather professional.
