Went to the Town Hall, they said I don't need any permission from them, just go ahead and rent it!! Surely this is not correct?

I also need an agent to look after our property and lettings, do any of you have any recommendations?

Just another quicky.

Do I need to take any documents to the town hall and if so, will copies do or would they need the originals?

Cheers All

Hurghada

Well it's been 7 years since my last post regarding Hurghada. We still have the apartment and are still renting it out although numbers have dropped off due to the massive increase of all inclusive hotels. These do the locals no favors whatsoever as the reps from the hotels are telling their guests ...

Have to agree, had a few bookings myself from them. They do place adds in other sites as well, part of the deal I think.

Bidandgo

Hi,
Has anybody tried this "new" advertising site "bidandgo.co.uk"?

They charge a 10% commission which is taken from the customer, the rest goes into your account.

Pucker site? Who knows?

I only use one paid for ad site which is Homelidays. I used them last year for free and got 6 bookings with them. This year so far 3. I advertise on free sites world wide including the USA, all the USA ones are direct from our website, Hurghada+sun+apartment seems quite high on Google, we average ab...

I don’t know what percentage of the Red Sea tourist market Jet 2 has, not as much as Thompson or Thomas Cook I would think. I think if either of these two decided to bale out, that would cause us some concern although most of our bookings are from mainland Europe and USA. Obviously we have to think ...

Well, after the "uprising" in Cairo, enquiries seem to have fallen off for some reason  however, Hurghada and the Red Sea in general are reletively quiet, a small increase in security and a few tanks guarding the government buildings but no riots and shops now open etc. Our contacts ...
