We have a holiday let in Nice and live in Ireland. I manage the bookings and have a reliable couple in Nice that meet the guests, clean and organise repairs etc. It is hard work. When we first started we got enquires through the booking sites rather than the instant bookings nowadays. I enjoyed the ...

I use them for my apartment in Nice. They charge very high commission but do provide lots of bookings. I had to deal with their customer services and found them helpful. They edit the text in your ad so it might not read as you might like it. They encourage visitors to leave reviews and practically ...

For the majority of that time t brought me 70-80% of my bookings. Even when it changed its system to collecting the payments etc,...

I think you should ask him for a price. Maybe try and keep a record of his hours spent helping you and if when the work is complete and if you are satisfied you can give him a bonus. In Ireland if I hire anyone on a daily or hourly rate, I am liable for insurance in case of an accident. If I hire so...

I use Airbnb and allow instant bookings. I would prefer if instant booking was not available to guests but thats another story. I dont get many bookings through ABB and those I do get are generally for short stays close to arrival date, so it is good for filling gaps in my calendar. The vast majorit...

I have a one bed in Nice and pay my changeover lady €100 per changeover. I also give her a bonus twice a year. For this she does the cleaning, meet and greet, collects and returns damage deposit. She also organised to buy cleaning products toilettries etc (which I pay for). She organised tradesperso...
