GG, the tax treatment for holiday lettings is SO favourable that the government could reduce the advantages and still leave owners in a "favourable " situation.

The government has declared that it is going to prune "niches fiscales" drastically.
This could mean more CGT when you sell your race-horse, tax on your Nobel prize or the family truffle farm - or perhaps, less favorable treatment for our holiday lettings.

A French cheque is different from a UK cheque in that you can't,without serious banking law consequences, cancel a French cheque unless it has been lost or stolen.
