Double booking

Watching breakfast telly this morning and a family decided to be clever and book both a foreign holiday and a Norfolk one for the same week. I will not name the family but I`m sure that anyone can look back via I player. Then it will be up to the holiday let owner in Norfolk to decide whether their ...

Returning security deposit

Well, I might be daft but how do I return a security deposit?

Payment was credit card (stripe) but cannot see on the stripe dashboard how to send some money back.
It must be easy?

(First customer since we marketed direct)

We had 2 Quantek torches to supplement our emergency lighting and as a convenience to our guests. Brilliant - still have 2 in our house Sadly they stopped working after 2 years and we could not find replacements at a sensible price. We now have "Safe T light`s". Although not quite as good ...

Covid Cleaning

Last year we operated from July to Nov with back to back bookings. It was hard work, with 10 man hrs cleaning each changeover (3 bed, 2 bath). All crockery & Cutlery through dishwasher, carpets sprayed, cushions changed etc etc. Not sustainable in the long term. We are planning a slightly less v...

Hi,
Breckland council.
they were quick with the grant earlier this year as well.
Completed on line form stating that we were required to close and that we were open normally prior to the 5th nov.

Fingers crossed

Our last guests have just arrived, they are here until the 4th. We will then close until the Feb 1/2 term week (at least). Not worth taking bookings for the winter, when cancellations are likely due guests having to isolate or moving into tier 3. Can`t complain though, we have achieved 109 nights si...

I explicitly tell my guests not to strip the beds as it easier to check for stains etc with everything in place +1 - but I do not tell the guests why! Our laundry does a good job of ironing but does not take stains out, so we pre-wash where necessary. We make up all the beds, as they pay for a full...

Thanks for that link Zebedee.

We only sleep 6 but regularly get mixed households from different parts of the country.

I guess we have an equal responsibility in obeying the rules.
