Ebay an update on selling rental weeks
An ongoing update re selling on ebay that i thought worth sharing with others who may be interested. Firstly - the two houses I rent are abnormal so bear this in mind (one can only be reached by boat, and the other cannot be reached by car and requires guests to walk down a steep hill - carrying lug...

I have found that cool places have an amazing relationship with the press and for me have delivered articles is several national newspapers about the property - (2x in daily telegraph, 1 x evening standard and 1 x independent) see http://www.ardnish.org/press.php OK the houses are very quirky - acce...

Bookings down in Scotland
Normally by now I am fully booked for the season (May to September only) this year I still have several vacancies - no foreign bookings this year so far. One new property getting reasonably booked (16 weeks in total booked so far), but as new for 2019 have nothing to compare it to. Both houses are f...

A couple of inconsistencies with Loft and loft - see the apartment One Fisherman’s loft I did struggle a bit with the sleeps 2. There...

All advice and reviews welcomed on new website
A few years ago, when I started off renting a holiday house, I got superb feedback, when I posted a plea for help on the forum. In return I have tried to make suggestions for others on this website. Fast forward a few years and I have now added a new property - Lower Polnish - both are highly quirky...

Fabulous photos and a good clear layout Agree with the other posters that internal pictures are really required to get a good understanding of what you are renting. Sorry to be a bit nit picking but given you are at the luxury end of the market I think you need to be consistent with the name of your...

I rent a cottage in one of the most midge infested parts of the Scotland - The west coast (www.ardnish.org) - or perhaps it just seems like that!

My thoughts
Only a few minor comments to add - I think the Christmas tab is a bit too prominent - also what about New Year - not sure this merits a tab. Overall clear and well laid out - I think that one more photo would remove the 1/1 which is lurking at the bottom of the page and also look a bit more even. A ...
